Responsibilities
- Support the underwriting team to assess risks and determine the coverage position
- Provide preliminary evaluations to the underwriting team on new business opportunities and renewals
- First point of contact for assigned clients and intermediaries in service delivery
- Manage daily operations in the underwriting department
- Co-ordinate with the underwriting team and intermediaries to identify potential business opportunities
Requirements
- Degree holder
- Fresh or recent graduates without any relevant experience are also welcome to apply; ideally they should be from the discipline of Management/Business Studies, Accountancy, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Economics or other numerical disciplines
- Diploma holders with relevant underwriting/underwriting support experience will also be considered
- Relevant SCI certifications are mandatory; where needed, we will provide the necessary sponsorship to the final candidate(s)
- The actual job title/level and business line assignment offered to the final candidate(s) will depend on their experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel)
- Good communication and organisation skills
- Good time management
