Singapore Opportunity Index (SOI)

Today, we are incredibly proud to share that MS First Capital Insurance Ltd is recognised among Singapore’s Top 300 Employers in the inaugural 2025 Singapore Opportunity Index (SOI). This milestone reflects our ongoing commitment to creating meaningful career pathways, fostering inclusive growth, and investing in our people’s potential. The SOI measures people outcomes – from hiring and pay progression to promotion and retention – making this recognition a testament to the real opportunities we create for our most valuable asset, our people.

This honour isn’t just about recognition, it’s validation that our commitment to our people creates measurable impact. The SOI tracks real career trajectories, showing how we open doors through inclusive hiring, enable advancement through clear progression paths, and sustain careers through meaningful retention. In a nation built on the promise that progress for Singapore means progress for its people, we’re honoured to contribute to this vision.

The Singapore Opportunity Index is a data-driven tool developed by The Burning Glass Institute to measure how career development and opportunities unfold within organizations in Singapore. It is not a ranking system but a benchmarking tool designed to help employers and workers understand workforce outcomes and improve talent strategies. The SOI uses government data from the Occupation and Employment Dataset (2020-2024) to analyze metrics such as pay, progression, gender parity, retention, and hiring across around 1,500 firms, covering nearly 45% of the resident workforce.
