Sometimes we are unable to pay the claim as presented to us and this may give rise to a situation where you are unhappy and wish to complain about our service.
We take all complaints seriously and we do our best to amicably resolve them.
In the event that you wish to make a complaint about the coverage provided by your policy or the handling of your claim, you should in the first instance contact your insurance broker. We will then work with the broker to try to resolve the issue.
Should you remain dissatisfied, you may (if eligible) refer your complaint to the Financial Industry Dispute Resolution Centre (FIDReC).
FIDReC is an independent and impartial alternative dispute resolution institution dedicated to resolving disputes between consumers and financial institutions. The process commences with a mediation. If there is no settlement at the mediation, the dispute can then be adjudicated. We are bound by any resolutions reached by mediation or adjudication. The process is confidential and will not affect the consumer’s legal rights.
